NEW DSRTF WEBINAR: TUESDAY FEB. 28th!

We are pleased to announce that Dr. William Mobley of the University of California, San Diego's Center for Down Syndrome Research and Treatment will be joining us for a webinar highlighting his work this coming Tuesday, February 28 at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM ET.
Please join us for a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of the most talented and dedicated researchers in the field of Down syndrome cognition research! We believe his work, and the funding of it through private sources, is even more imperative given the recent news about the nearly 10% reduction in federal funding for cognition research.
We hope time considerations will permit us to take questions from the audience. Please submit your questions for Dr. Mobley to dsrtf@dsrtf.org. We look forward to your participation.

MLK ~ Honoring & Remembering

"I have a dream..."

this is quite possibly the most famous words of any of Dr. Marin Luther King's speeches. And I believe that many of us could write a speech that begins with those words when speaking about our children, our family, our life. Dreams are possibilities of what could be and what may be...

So today what do you dream?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. inspired a generation to change and continues to inspire people today with his words, writings and life.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes of Dr. Martin Luther King...

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
“Find a voice in a whisper.”
“Many people fear nothing more terribly than to take a position which stands out sharply and clearly from the prevailing opinion. The tendency of most is to adopt a view that is so ambiguous that it will include everything and so popular that it will include everybody. Not a few men who cherish lofty and noble ideals hide them under a bushel for fear of being called different.”
“You are not only responsible for what you say, but also for what you do not say”
