Fit Girls Rock!

Fit Girls Rock is a fitness class for young girls with Down syndrome. Participation is free but limited. About Fit Girls Rock Fit Girls Rock is a free 8-week class for girls 8-12 years old with Down syndrome. The classes are held on Thursdays from 6pm - 7pm beginning July 12 and ending August 16.   Activities Because children with Down syndrome are at higher risk for childhood obesity it's important to create fund and social activities that encourage fitness. Activities include: Overall fitness (treadmill, stepper, bike, etc.) Dancing with Zumba Yoga Light weight lifting with water bottles Walk and running Obstacle courses Pool activities For more information contact Janine Roe, Community Program Director, at 314-872-6481 or send us an email.
